Your menu lives at your own address — something like yourshop.menubooklet.com. You can change it any time from the Custom domain page.
The important part: your old address keeps working. Forever. Every QR code you have printed, every link you have shared, every bookmark a regular has saved carries on reaching your menu. Nothing you have put into the world stops working because you renamed.
Old addresses are also never given to another restaurant. If we handed your old name to somebody else, every table tent you ever printed would start pointing at a competitor's menu.
The page lists any former addresses under "Also still reaches you", so you can see for yourself that they are alive.
Rules for an address: three to forty characters, lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Capitals are fine to type — we lowercase them for you. A few names are reserved for the platform.
This is not the same as a custom domain. A custom domain is your own website address, like menu.yourrestaurant.com, and needs a paid add-on. Changing your free address costs nothing and is available on every plan.
