Catering enquiries give parties, functions and corporate orders one inbox instead of a phone number and a notebook.
Switching it on: 1. Open Profile and turn on catering enquiries. 2. List the event types you cater for (Wedding, Birthday, Corporate). The customer picks from your list rather than typing their own. 3. Add a note if you have a rule worth saying up front, such as a minimum number of guests.
How it runs: 1. The customer sends their event details: date, guests, budget, venue and anything else they want you to know. 2. It arrives in Catering enquiries as "new". 3. You reply with your quote. The customer gets it by email and on their phone. 4. They accept or decline it themselves.
That last step is the point. A job marked "won" means the customer said yes, not that somebody recorded a guess after a phone call. You can still set the status yourself for a customer who answers by phone, and your console always outranks their tap.
The status only moves from "quoted", so a forwarded link cannot undo an agreement a week later.
