A membership is a club you sell from your menu: a coffee club, a bean box, a bread subscription.
IMPORTANT: this advertises your plan and collects everyone interested. It does not charge anybody's card. You take payment however you already do.
That is deliberate. Charging cards automatically would mean holding your customers' card details and following the rules around recurring payments. This way you can start selling today, and you keep the payment arrangement you already have with your regulars.
Setting one up: 1. Open Memberships in the dashboard. 2. Give it a name, a price and how often it renews: weekly, monthly or quarterly. 3. List what a member gets, one line per benefit ("2 bags of beans a month", "Free filter coffee in store"). 4. Add your cancellation terms in your own words. 5. Save. It appears behind the More button on your menu.
When a diner taps "I'm interested" they fill in a short form and it arrives in your Catering enquiries inbox, with the plan name already filled in so you know which club they meant.
You need the enquiries feature switched on for that button to appear. Without it your plans still show on your menu with your contact details, rather than a button that leads nowhere.
